Led by former UVA Law Chief Admissions Officer Cordel Faulk, this session will cover everything from building a standout personal statement to navigating character & fitness disclosures. You'll leave with expert advice, personalized feedback, and a confident strategy to maximize your chances of admission.
Optional 1:1 LSAT Tutoring
Looking for extra support as you prepare for the LSAT? Students who register for either summer session will have the option to schedule personalized 1:1 LSAT tutoring with our expert team. Whether you need targeted help with specific sections or want a full review, we’re here to help you maximize your score.
Rotunda Clients: $150 per hour or $300 for three hours
Colonnade Clients: $250 per hour or $600 for three hours
Everyone Else: $350 per hour or $900 for three hours
When you register for a summer session, you’ll be able to indicate your interest in 1:1 LSAT tutoring, and a team member will follow up to coordinate scheduling.

About cordel Faulk
Cordel L. Faulk is a seasoned law school admissions expert with over two decades of experience in higher education, admissions strategy, and student advocacy. As the Director of Law School Admissions Counseling at What's Next, he leverages his extensive background to guide aspiring law students through every stage of the application process, helping them craft compelling applications and make informed decisions about their futures.
Previously, he served as Director of Global Admissions for Schwarzman Scholars, where he led the recruitment and selection of one of the world's most competitive graduate fellowship programs. He was also the Assistant Dean and Chief Admissions Officer at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he spearheaded efforts that resulted in the school's most diverse incoming classes. His leadership extends beyond admissions, as he played a key role in scholarship allocation, student inclusivity, and strategic planning.
Cordel’s career also includes experience in law, journalism, and higher education leadership, giving him a unique perspective on the law school admissions landscape. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and Virginia Tech, he is passionate about mentoring students and ensuring they have the tools to succeed in their legal education and careers.
